Lo-Fi/Chillhop artist Fletcher Reed has combined forces with Strong Maurice. "For as long as I can remember, Strong Maurice and I have been collaborating," reflects Fletcher Reed. "It's kind of become a never-ending, ongoing thing. Maurice spends most of his mornings finding or creating sounds. Whether that's digging for sounds and samples on the internet or creating original chord progressions in his home studio. At some point, he got in the habit of just sharing a never-ending folder with me that contained anything and everything. I'm a fan of Maurice's sound design, and got in his own habit of scrolling through and listening. Whenever I felt inspired by a sound, could be a snare drum or a rhodes keyboard, I would drop the sound into a session and start building a beat and song structure around it. This collaborative relationship flourished and has only brought us great songs.
