After they disbanded, Mid and Charlie formed the band Spine Wrench, which was sort of the industrialized version of Deviated Instinct. Deviated Instinct were the band who invented the punk term "stenchcore", which is slang for crust punk. They put out a demo with the title "Terminal Filth Stenchcore"
