Ancestry was founded in late 2007 by guitarist, Luiz Monge, along with drummer Derek Avila, including Alan Garcia And Cesar Castillo on keyboards and bass, later Lobo would be added to the line-up as vocalist for the band, for a few months the band would have just one guitar player, but later they would add Eduardo Cuadros as a second one who solidified the first Ancestry line-up by joining the band.
