Legendary producer Pearson Sound, a.k.a. David Kennedy needs little introduction. Forming one third of the prolific label Hessle Audio (with Ben UFO and Pangaea), he has been at the forefront of UK underground electronic music for the past decade. Never afraid to reinvent himself, his adventurous productions reflect the hybrid influences of UK bass music; jungle, techno, house, dubstep and garage can all be found in his extensive back catalogue, whilst headline sets at festivals all around the world have given this versatile DJ cult status. Despite these achievements, and having lectured at the Red Bull Music Academy in Madrid, released a critically heralded FABRICLIVE compilation and remixed artists including Radiohead, The xx and M.I.A., Pearson Sound still finds time to maintain the Hessle Rinse FM show and his regular vinyl-only night Acetate in Leeds.
