After Robert's untimely passing in 2020 (RIP), Shadows reached out to Mike Lamb from Sojourner and his partner Heike Langhans from Draconian to help finish the two nearly completed tracks to honor Robert's memory. After the EP was released, 'Shadows' hired Mike to continue the project under a new name (Lord of Shadows) and the pair enlisted vocalists from elsewhere in the doom metal sphere with Langhans as core recurring guest.
