Filippo Calcagni, better known by his artist name DJ Mad Dog, is an Italian DJ, producer, and owner of Dogfight Records. Mad Dog is unquestionably a leader in the Hardcore industry, active in the scene since 1999, and an exponent of the Millennium and Modern Hardcore eras. He has maintained an unshakeable position throughout the genre's twists and turns, creating a new Hardcore trend called Downtempo, which draws inspiration from slow tempo BPMs and early Hardcore-Techno Rave sounds. He has performed on the world's biggest stages, including Thunderdome, EDC Las Vegas, Qlimax, Mysteryland, Dominator, and many more, spanning across the globe.
