Geneviève Ryan-Martel, known professionally as TDJ, is an artist and music producer based in Montreal, Canada. She began her music career as Ryan Playground in 2015, under which she released two albums and several singles, before starting to release music under the moniker TDJ in 2019. Ryan-Martel released multiple extended plays before her debut album, TDJ123, in 2022. TDJ is known for mixing trance, techno, and eurodance, creating music that is "full of freedom, emotion, and melancholy.” She is also well-known for her "immersive audiovisual experiences," combining music, storytelling, and ambitious visual artworks to take the listener/viewer on a deeply engaging journey. In October 2023, TDJ made a curated playlist for YEAR0001: SOUNDS. The playlist was made for the occasion of SPF INFINI's third instalment and featured 30 tracks from deep influences and collaborators like Clams Casino, aamourocean, DJ Traytex & Vitesse X. TDJ performed a DJ set at RIFT Stockholm 2024 alongside Mechatorus, Snow Strippers and Varg2™.
